2016 has been a great year for The Sweet Stuff.  It started with new branding and a website that continues to evolve as my portfolio grows.  I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with around 20 couples this year to produce their wedding cakes, dessert tables and favours.  Every couple is so different, they have different requirements and are all so special in different ways so I am glad that I have met or exceeded expectations.  Their kind words of praise is always so, so good to hear!  It has been great to meet so many of you and such a privilege to be a part of your big days!  This is another opportunity to say thank you to all of the newlyweds I have worked with and salute the hard work of the local wedding professionals and venues that I have created amazing days with too.  It has been great to connect with so many wedding industry professionals and wonderful to add so many stunning images from extremely talented wedding photographers to my website and brochures - thanks so much for sharing them with me.

2017 looks to be bigger and better and I am really looking forward to making heaps more cakes, dessert tables and favours for you all!  I am excited to have clients from as far as Australia and Dubai returning to the region to get married, the internet is a wondrous thing!  Lots of consultations are already booked in for January and February and new enquiries from soonlyweds continue to hit my inbox daily.  Congratulations to everyone who was recently engaged and I hope that your wedding planning is a fun, stressless adventure.  (If you are considering hiring me for your big day, please get in touch now - if only to check your date is available).

Thank you to everyone who has supported me this past year.  Your cake orders fuel so much for me, your likes, lovely comments and shares on social media affirm that I am doing good work and this job enables me to pursue more than just my cake making passions.  Thank you for the friendships that have been forged, the support that I have received (as it takes more than the baking and cake decorating skills to keep this thing ticking), for your recommendations and referrals and the opportunities that continue to come my way to develop my craft.

Happy New Year 2017!  Here are five of my 2016 highlights!
