South East Asia mini tour pt.2

The third country we visited was Malaysia.  We flew into Kuala Lumpur, checked into our air bnb and explored the city at the first opportunity.  The city is big, widespread, Western influenced and diverse.  You will see lots of thick forest and rural looking areas next to skyscrapers and shopping centres so it can look a little random but I guess it is a reflection of the age of the city and occupied times.  The Bangsar district was great for wonderful food, the KL hop-on, hop-off bus was great to get around the city and see all the sites; my favourite was the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia.  The afternoon rains put a bit of a damper on our last day and by then I was ready to leave the hustle and bustle of KL for the manicured streets and newness of Singapore.
