Stylish London City Wedding
Alex and Fraser saw one of my wedding cake designs in 'Brides' magazine (Feb/ March 2017) that they fell in love with and got in touch with me about their celebration in London in September 2017. As an out of town couple we worked via email and chatted on the phone about their big day. Their impeccable style was a great match for their chosen black and gold design and totally aligned with my personal style too - I have a penchant for shiny things, candles and beautifully simple floral arrangements. We met up later in the year when they were visiting friends in Nottingham for their cake tastings and to confirm all of the details. My heart was in my mouth the whole day as the cake was collected by their very kind and brave friend who transported the cake from Nottingham to London and was then assembled at their reception venue by the wonderful team at Dolphin Square. The wedding favours were mailed a couple of days before the wedding and arrived in perfect condition, much to my relief! Dominika Miechowska was their photographer and their photo's show how beautiful a city wedding can be! I love how her natural style plays on light and shade so well making the images timeless.

So many of the guests commented that they had never seen such a glamorous cake and apparently it tasted divine - I didn’t even get to taste so much as a crumb!!
