Tropical Luxe Wedding

Jenny and Dom approached me with such a clear vision that their wedding got me instantly excited, creatively presented on a mood board!  The couple were incorporating gold sequins, fuschia pink, rich greens and hues of yellow for their tropical themed summer wedding at Kelham House.  The style statement was as much 'on trend' as it was very tastefully done.  Additionally they made use of the grounds and had large flamingos (not real!) in the gardens and pineapple shaped candles on the outdoor tables to light up the night.  The steel pan band who wore Hawaiian shirts and Lei Lei's that greeted guests was the perfect welcoming touch too.

The couple have great taste and were very hands on in sourcing lots of fabulous styling items including the rose gold pineapple I used to style the cake table.  To complement the theme and colours I designed some great dessert labels too with banana leaf backgrounds.  They asked me to create a brightly coloured and bold flavoured wedding cake and desserts to complement their theme and beautiful styling.  They chose the following for their cake table: lemon zest and cookies 'n' creme tiered buttercream cake, summer fruits cupcakes, fruit tarts with creme patisserie filling, passionfruit and strawberry macarons, mango meringue kisses and raspberry cake pops (by Delish).

TESTIMONIAL

"From start to finish the whole experience with The Sweet Stuff was perfect. From our initial phone calls and emails to meeting and the final result, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We were blown away by the dessert table and especially by our cake, it was stunning. Not only do we think you are amazing our guests do too, they can't wait to find a reason to use you! Thank you so much for adding your creativity to our big day, it was perfect." - Mr & Mrs Kingston
